You see, this charging travel pad supports Qi2 15W fast charging, so that your iPhone can be charged twice faster than conventional chargers. In addition, it is said to charge your Apple Watch from zero to 50% battery life in just 45 minutes.

Perhaps, most importantly, this charging travel pad comes with intelligent device detection with protection against over voltage, short circuit, over charge and over current.
Out of the box, the charging travel pad also comes with a 36W power adapter, a USB-C-to-USB-C cable and a travel pouch.
The included power adapter can be fitted with different tips for use in different countries. The standard model only comes with the 3-pin plug. If you want extra tips, you have to pay an extra S$14. I think it is well worth it, if you are a frequent flier.
Design wise, this charging travel pad consists of three connected square-sized (8.2cm by 8.2cm) wireless charging pads. One features a round magnetic charging pad for your iPhone, one has the charging puck for your Apple Watch and the last one has a flat charging pad for your AirPods Pro.
There are different ways to use the charging travel pad. The iPhone charging pad is attached to the Apple Watch charging pad via an adjustable connector that allows you prop up an attached iPhone at 45 degrees in landscape mode. Thus, you can use it at bedside table of your hotel so your iPhone can be on Nightstand mode.
Alternatively, you can extend the three charging pads flat if you want to place the iPhone in portrait orientation.
I also like that the Apple Watch charging puck can be adjusted from flat to 90 degrees, so you can charge your Apple regardless of what kind of strap being used.
You fold the three pads into one for easy transport or if you just want to charge your iPhone. The customised travel pouch lets you put the charging pad, cable and power adapter in one place for easy storage.
In my tests, the charging travel pad was able to charge an Apple Watch Series 7 quickly from zero to full in only 68 minutes and an iPhone 15 Pro Max from 50% to 80% in only 21 minutes. And I was charging these two devices at the same time. This is real fast charging at work.
On the downside, the charging travel pad’s exterior has a rubberised texture that might pick up dirt easily even though it is good to touch. In addition, in Singapore’s warm and humid climate, I wonder if it might become mushy and sticky in time to come.
Not to mention, the charging travel pad is quite expensive at over S$200. You probably can something similar from Shopee or Taobao at around S$20. That said, I have many bad experiences with such cheap charging pads that even harm your devices. Once, my Apple Watch Ultra 2 nearly got fried and I have to reset it. So, you might want to put your faith on respectable brands like Belkin.
VERDICT
The Belkin BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Travel Pad might be quite pricey. But with its compact design, included pouch, and protection against short-circuit among others, it will be every dollar well spent if you are a frequent flier who uses Apple’s mobile trinity of iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods.
