If you are wearing a free fitness tracker from HPB to use with the Health 365 app, there is a high chance it is an Actxa fitness tracker. The Singapore-based deep tech company (as it called itself) will be launching its first-ever smart ring, the Core Smart Ring.
Said to be crafted from aerospace-grade titanium, the Core Smart Ring features a minimalist design in two colours of black and silver. At just 8mm wide, 2.2mm thin, it tips the scales from 2.5g to 3.3g (depending on the ring size) and comes with 5ATM water resistance. The smart ring tracks your health by what Actxa described as four pillars of health – Activity, Health, Sleep and Wellness.

However, the key highlight of Core Smart Ring is its ability to detect diabetic risks early with BGEM – a Actxa-proprietary non-invasive glucose monitoring system powering by artificial intelligence. If this works as advertised, this will be a game changer for the entire tech and health industry.
Other features of Core Smart Ring include the usual tracking of physical activities, sleep as well as all-day SpO2, heart-rate variability (HRV), VO2 Max and stress level monitoring. It can store up to 7 days of activity data with an estimated battery life of 5 days.

The Core Smart Ring will be available in Singapore from late August 2025 and retails at S$349. For more information, you can visit Actxa.
