If you have been wowed by Fujifilm’s retro-styled mirrorless cameras but haven’t taken the plunge, the latest Fujifilm X-T30 III might just be the one to start.
This latest model of Fujifilm entry-level X series has the beloved classic design of traditional SLR with its centre viewfinder, but yet packs a 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 APS-C-sized image sensor. Coupled with a new high-speed X-Processor 5, it is able to process images about twice as fast as its predecessor as well as faster autofocusing. It also supports 4K video recording at 60 frames per second (fps) and 6K video recording at up to 30fps.

The key addition is the Film Simulation dial on the top left of the camera, replacing the mode dial on its previous two predecessors. This allows you to quickly select from 20 film simulation modes, ranging from the usual Velvia to the new Nostalgic Neg.

The X-T30 III is priced at S$1,429 (body only) or S$1,659 (with XC 13-33mm f3.5-6.5 kit lens). However, Fujifilm Singapore has yet to confirm when it will be available.
