Xiaomi’s largest Singapore store opens in Jewel Changi Airport

Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi is showing that it is serious about Singapore. Its largest Singapore retail store will officially open tomorrow (11 October 2025) at Jewel Changi Airport. Taking up the space directly above the Jewel Apple Store, Xiaomi’s 10th Singapore store is spread across 203 square metres, or roughly the size of two 4-room HDB flat. I was there yesterday and it is already open for business.

Directly operated by Xiaomi, this store will have, for the first time in Singapore, a “Smart Home” section. It will showcase a range of popular home appliances in Southeast Asia, such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines, that highlight Xiaomi’s advanced technology. Currently, Xiaomi’s washing machines are available for sale in Singapore. In August this year, Xiaomi launched the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 10.5kg in Singapore, which was sold out within its first month.

The store will also feature over 400 different SKUs (stock keeping units) for customers to fully experience the entire Xiaomi ecosystem of smartphones, smart home and other products. Xiaomi said the store will offer world-class sales, delivery, and after-sales services, with staff fully knowledgeable about the products and ready to offer buying advice and .

The setting up of a Xiaomi Store at Jewel Changi Airport marks a milestone for Xiaomi here, as it showcases its “Human x Car x Home” concept to both local and overseas customers.  According to Xiaomi, it plans to conduct activities in the Xiaomi Stores, such as photography exhibitions, workshops, and Mi Fan engagement activities.

With the future launch of Xiaomi’s vehicles in international markets, it hinted that customers here “can also look forward to an integrated experience with Xiaomi’s ecosystem, including the cars, available to experience in Xiaomi Stores”. Yesterday, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric car was already on display on the first level of Jewel Rain Vortex. If it is not a hint that this car will be in Singapore soon, I don’t know what it is.
