Razer’s gaming laptop Blade 15 will get an update later this year. And this updated model will have the distinguished title of being the world’s first laptop to come with a 240Hz OLED display.
Most displays run at a refresh rate of 60Hz with gaming monitors at 144Hz. Refresh rates of flagship smartphones can go up to 120Hz.
As such, the Blade 15’s 15.6-inch display’s refresh rate is twice as fast and with a QHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) resolution no less. In addition, this display features a quick 1ms response, 400 nits of brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
The gaming laptop itself is powered by 12th-generation Intel Core i9-12900H processor and an Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti laptop graphics processing unit. It has 32GB DDR5 RAM, 1TB SSD as well as an additional M.2 slot for you to add another SSD.
Design wise, it looks the same as current Blade 15 with its thin and sleek black body. There will be a myriad of ports on the sides of the laptop, including Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A, HDMI and an SD card reader.
The bad news, apart from its USS$3,499.99 price tag, is it will only be available in the last quarter of this year.
