Canon has a new wireless compact printer with the SELPHY CP1500. So, you can print out those party shots immediately and share them with your guests, instead of having those memories hidden forever in your smartphone.
The compact printer is easy to use with the upgraded SELPHY Photo Layout 3.0 smartphone app. Pairing is quick and simple by scanning a QR code with the app. Furthermore, up to eight smartphones can be connected to the CP1500. So, everyone at the party can print to their hearts’ delight. And they can get their prints quickly too. Postcard-sized prints are done in around 41 seconds, while card-size prints can be printed in just around 23 seconds.
Not to mention, the CP1500 comes with a correction function that is said to automatically adjust the brightness, saturation, contrast and tones for a better and clearer finish. And at the end of printing, a special overcoat finish is applied to protect the photo from water, dirt and even fingerprints. Canon says a printout from CP1500 will stay in pristine condition for up to 100 year when preserved in an album.
However, the Canon SELPHY CP1500 will only be available here in September this year. And pricing is yet to be confirmed. Still, it is probably in time for the holiday season.
