Danish audio brand Jabra has just launched PanaCast 40 VBS – an Android-powered video bar system designed for small meeting rooms – in Singapore today. It is said to offer a full-room coverage with 180-degree field of view, thanks to its dual cameras and 4x digital zoom.
The PanaCast 40 VBS comes with one speaker and six beamforming noise-cancelling microphones that are enhanced by intelligent audio algorithms for optimal voice pickup. It boasts AI-powered features such as dynamic composition that offers close-ups of active speakers and room view simultaneously. Its intelligent zoom function is said to keep everyone in the frame, even if they are moving. In addition, it offers real-time speaker tracking with its Virtual Director function.

Furthermore, the PanaCast 40 VBS is supposed to offer a quick straightforward installation process from unboxing to mounting to the first meeting. This ensures that any can get their systems up and running, so you have more time for collaboration and not spend time on installation.
Supporting Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), the PanaCast 40 VBS offers strengthened security and enhanced meeting experiences. With its certified Android compatibility, it offers compatibility and flexibility with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and other BYOD deployment options.
The Jabra PanaCast 40 VBS will be available from this month with a retail price of S$3,235. If your office only requires the video bar, it will cost S$2,206. For more information, please visit Jabra.
