Google highlights its Singapore office

In a post on its official blog, search giant Google highlighted the Singapore office detailing its humble beginning with small Collyer Quay office on the little red dot in 2007.

Today, Google has a sprawling purpose-built office in Pasir Panjang, overlooking the container port, which houses more than 2,000 staff since 2016.

The Google Singapore office houses Shiok cafe that has different cuisines of Singapore including chicken rice. In addition, there is a Developer Space @ Google Singapore that helps Southeast Asian developers and entrepreneurs with mentorship and networking opportunities.

But it is not just all work at Google. There is also much fun with support and volunteer groups within the company. It is revealed that Google Singapore is home to one of the largest board game groups of any Google office.
