Apple Watch is great for iPhone users, as it extend many smart capabilities on to their wrists. But whenever you are travelling, you have to bring an extra Apple Watch charging cable. Measuring 121 x 53 x 26mm, the BoostCharge Pro is pretty compact for you to slot in your backpack or day bag. In fact, you can easily slot it into your side pocket of your pants as well. It has a rubberised soft exterior that feels nice to the touch.

In addition, it is not exactly lightweight weighing 232g. But such weight is expected of a 10,000mAh power bank. This capacity means it should comfortably charge an iPhone 14 Pro Max twice or provide up to 36 hours of video playback for an iPhone 14 Pro.

On paper, the BoostCharge Pro is able to charge your devices at up to 20W via the USB-C port and up to 7.5W via the wireless charging puck. In real-life situation, it was able to charge my iPhone 13 Pro Max from 30% to full in 65 minutes using Belkin BOOST↑CHARGE PRO Flex cable. It was also able to revive my forgotten Apple Watch Series 2 (found in a drawer) from dead flat to 50 per cent battery juice in 45 minutes with the built-in charger.

Not to mention, the power bank is also able to charge your AirPods Pro (Gen 2) as well using the Apple Watch charging puck. And it is pretty easy to do so, as the AirPods Pro case will magnetically attached to the charging puck. Unfortunately, I was not able to do so with the first-gen AirPods Pro.

The best part about the BoostCharge Pro is that it allows pass-through charging of your Apple Watch, while you are charging the power bank. As such, you can charge both your Apple Watch and the power bank before you go to bed at your hotel room every night.

However, only a USB-C-to-USB-C cable is being included in the box. While it can charge the power bank, you wonder why a USB-C-to-Lightning cable is not included. Maybe Belkin knows that the iPhone 15 will be using USB-C port, as rumoured?

VERDICT: At S$159, the Belkin BoostCharge Pro for Apple Watch + Power Bank 10K is definitely not cheap. But if you are a frequent traveller with an Apple Watch on your wrist, you will probably not going to regret having this useful power bank. In fact, you will regret not buying it and bringing it along on your journeys.
