Lenovo Signs Singapore Football Legend Fandi Ahmad as Brand Ambassador

Lenovo Singapore has officially kicked off its tech campaign for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026, dropping a massive local partnership. Local football icon Fandi Ahmad is officially joining the tech giant as its brand ambassador.

The collaboration bridges youth culture, tech, and sports, but it’s not just about standard marketing campaigns. Lenovo is rolling out a series of immersive fan experiences, AI-powered activations, and even a youth development pilot program right here in Singapore.

Here is a breakdown of what you can expect over the next few weeks:

Immersive Fan Zones and AI Photobooths

From now until July 20, Lenovo is setting up live screening hubs at CHIJMES (featuring a massive 360-inch screen) and Capitol Singapore.

  • AI Avatars: If you visit the AI Photobooths at CHIJMES Mini Lawn or the Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski, you can snap a photo and watch Lenovo’s AI instantly generate a digital football avatar of you in full kit.
  • Big Prizes: There is a “Spend & Score” campaign where spending $40 unlocks a digital game and a chance to win top-tier gear, including a Grand Prize Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Ultra FIFA World Cup 26 Edition laptop. You can also score 10X bonus entries during the knockout stages by correctly predicting the champion team.

Lenovo Re:Match Experience Store at *SCAPE

Launching on June 12, Fandi Ahmad and his son, Irfan Ahmad, will officially open the Lenovo Re:Match Experience Store at *SCAPE. Running until July 31, 2026, this activation gives fans a hands-on look at how Lenovo’s ecosystem is powering everything from real-time fan experiences to tournament operations intelligence.

Meet Fandi Ahmad and Michael Owen

Mark your calendars for July 18 (8:30 AM – 10:30 AM)! Lenovo is hosting a “Breakfast with the Legends” event at Adventure Cove Waterpark. Fans will get a chance to meet Fandi Ahmad alongside England football legend Michael Owen, hear firsthand stories, and get memorabilia signed.

AI Coaching Pilot with ITE

On the technical side, Lenovo is launching a year-long Lenovo AI Foundry sports pilot program with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE). Drawing on Fandi’s extensive coaching experience, students from ITE College Central’s School of AI and School of Sports Science will work with motion-capture sensors and AI prediction models to help develop the next generation of junior football coaches.

Whether you are looking to catch a World Cup match on a massive screen, test out some new AI avatar tech, or meet local and global football royalty, Lenovo has made sure Singapore is well-connected for the tournament.
