These are the best photos from Apple’s Shot on iPhone Macro Challenge

Earlier this year, Apple launched the Shot on iPhone Macro challenge inviting everyone to submit their best macro shots using iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max. The challenge started on January 25 and ended on February 17.

The judging panel consists of five Apple photography experts and five professional photographers from around the world, including Singapore’s very own Yik Keat Lee, better known as YK, who has over a million followers on TikTok.

The 10 winning photos were announced yesterday. According to Apple, “the winning images demonstrate that the beauty of macro photography is its ability to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, and capture the little things in a big way. Photos include incredible nature shots that might be overlooked by the naked eye, like dewdrops on a spiderweb, snowflakes on a dog’s hair, a cavernous hibiscus flower, and a strawberry engulfed in tiny soda water bubbles.”

These winning images will be featured on apple.com/sg, on Apple’s Instagram (@apple) account, and on billboards in select cities. And here are the winners! Wish I am one of them…
