Honor has officially launched its highly anticipated flagship foldable, the Magic V6, in Singapore. You might have seen it on your Instagram or Facebook feed, the foldable smartphone’s chassis was used to tow a 1.25-tonne aircraft and a sports car without sustaining structural damage securing Asia and Asean records along the way.
Despite housing a massive battery and intricate mechanical internals, the Magic V6 achieves an ultra-slim form factor that measures just 8.75mm thick when folded and unfolds to a razor-thin 4.0mm, weighing in at a highly pocketable 219g. The centrepiece of this structural achievement is the proprietary Honor Super Steel Hinge. Built to withstand a massive 2,800MPa of tensile strength, the hinge has been rigorously tested for up to 500,000 folding cycles—translating to over 13 years of seamless daily usage.
Hardware aside, the software strategy is perhaps the true headline here. Recognising that many consumers navigate mixed-platform environments, Honor has built powerful Cross-OS AI capabilities straight into the core experience. Through iCloud Connect, users can seamlessly manage and view their Apple cloud files directly on the foldable’s expansive inner display.
Furthermore, Honor Connect introduces fluid, one-tap file, photo, and video transfers between the Magic V6, iPhones, and MacBooks. Mac users looking for extended screen real estate can take advantage of the Cross-OS Magic Ring to transform the foldable into a wireless secondary display for their MacBook. Apple ecosystem peripherals are also natively welcomed; AirPods users receive automatic pop-up pairing, intuitive active noise controls, and Find My tracking support, while system notifications sync smoothly across connected iPhones and Apple Watches.
Under the hood, the device is driven by the ultra-powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for demanding mobile gaming and extensive AI multitasking workflows. Productivity is further enhanced by the Multi-Flex system, allowing users to run up to three split-screen apps concurrently, while Fast-Flex relies on a partial hinge fold to quickly call up Gemini for context-aware assistance.
Honor has packed a massive 6,660mAh Silicon-carbon battery, which Honor claims to be the largest battery capacity currently available in any foldable smartphone. It is also equipped with 80W wired, 66W wireless, and reverse wireless charging capabilities.
The dual-display architecture relies on Honor Magic Diamond Displays, pairing an Anti-Scratch NanoCrystal Shield on the outer screen with an Ultra-Tough Glass inner layer to provide a near-zero crease viewing experience. Both panels boast a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and reach exceptional peak brightness levels – up to 6,000 nits on the outside and 5,000 nits on the inside. The entire hardware suite is wrapped in comprehensive IP68 and IP69 environmental protection ratings against dust and high-pressure water ingestion.
In Singapore, the HONOR Magic V6 is available in four premium finishes: Ferghana Red, Sunrise Gold, Ivory White, and Classic Black. It comes in two configurations – 16GB RAM with 512GB storage (S$2,599) and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage (S$2,899).
Official pre-orders run from now till 11 June, 2026, across Honor Experience Stores, official Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop storefronts, major consumer electronics retailers, and local telcos (M1, Singtel, and StarHub). Pre-order buyers will secure an exclusive gift bundle valued up to $1,088, which includes a flagship DJI Osmo ACTION 6 action camera and 365 days of complimentary inner and outer screen protection. The Honor Magic V6 will retail in Singapore on June 12, 2026.
